Your Purchase Guide to the Best Phone in 2019
When choosing a Bast phone, you should consider these things: quality and design, ease of use, features, performance and value.
Typically a flagship phone will cost between £ 600 and £ 800, but in some cases, it can be over £ 1,000. On contract you are looking at an average between £ 30 and £ 50 per month, but if you want any expensive phone and lots of mobile internet data you can spend a lot more.
We think buying a phone lump is the best value, but we appreciate that you will not be able to do this. If you can, you will need a sim card and plan as well as a phone. If you do not already have a, check out our best SIM-only deals.
Should You Buy an iPhone or Android Smartphones?
There is more than one mobile phone operating system, but only two are worth: Android and iOS. Windows phones are still around, but only about 1% of all the SmartPhones sold, so it make more sense to go with Android or iPhone.
Most phones run Android today; Pie is the latest version. Although there is tiny market share in Apple’s iOS platform, developers always release their app on iOS, so this is one of the best app stores for you.
If you have an Android SmartPhone or iPhone and you want to go to another type of phone, then it is easy to move your contacts and other data from one to the other. What you can not move is for payable apps, so if you are considering a change of platform, keep this in mind.
Why should you buy an unlocked phone
unlocked phone is one that is not connected to a particular mobile Phones operator, such as Vodafone & EE. Buying unlocked usually means buy the phone without a SIM.
The most important thing is that an open phone is almost always a great deal that happens by buying a phone on the contract – if you can buy it.
Its only real exception is Apple’s iPhones – because of their traditional popularity, operators often subsidise the cost of buying iPhone so that you can be closed in a catchy long-term deal.
However, generally speaking, if you can afford the upfront cost of the handset, you will pay less about your life by buying the unlocked phone.
More importantly, you are not locked in a long contract. If you want a new handset any time, you can buy it from a contract without purchasing your route, or be committed for another two years.
Just make sure that the phone you are receiving does not lock on a specific network.
Another thing to consider is the size and size of the SIM required for your phone. Make sure you get a nano-SIM if you need a nano-SIM phone.
For the record, each phone in our top 10 takes a nano-SIM.
If you find it wrong, it can be easily solved – every network will happily send to a different size SIM. SIM cards come in all three sizes – you take them out of your need.
However, assuming you are getting a new SIM, and if you are looking for a sim-free phone or an unlocked phone, you probably already have one.
More important is to ensure that if you want 4G, you can get a 4G-enabled phone and SIM.

The first 48MP is a rear camera – a statue of which we were worried was all the marketing hip, but in reality, we have saved us in one of the crooked cameras so far, especially when the AI-enhanced Ultra Clarity mode Using it.
